A 50% deposit and signed estimate. After that, the couple has up until two weeks before the wedding to pay the remaining balance.

The run-of-the-mill wedding photographer usually does not give the attention, care, and concern that a trained photojournalist does. The wedding photojournalist does not look to just snap a picture, but will instead go above and beyond to get the perfect shot rather than a typical picture. He takes the photo he has and then looks for creative ways to tell the story through his pictures. Whereas an uncommitted photographer may just take a picture from where he is standing and be done, because in his mind, he did his job. A wedding photojournalist will keep shooting, changing angles and changing lenses, all in order to tell the story of that moment in the most captivating way. He wants to exhaust every resource and explore every photographic potential.
- [+]Wherever you would like! The setting of the engagement portraits is completely up to you. As a photographer, I recommend my clients pick a place that is special to them as a couple. The location must be outdoors, due to lighting needs, and an indoor location will incur a studio fee, which is an additional $500 to rent the studio and the lights. Open parks, cafes, historical buildings or estates are beautiful outdoor settings for engagement photos. To help make the session flow smoother, bringing a friend can help by taking care of the couple’s things while they are being photographed. - [+]That is up to every bride and groom to decide. Dress in the way that you want to be remembered as a couple, in a manner that expresses and suits the two of you. There are things that will be necessary for the photos, though. Women should bring a few different choices of jewelry and outfits, in case they want to change during the session. Creativity begins with two photographers. One photographer cannot possibly capture all of the important moments that occur during a wedding because he is limited by time and space. Our “Lead” photographers are tasked with shooting all of the traditional images while the “Creative” photographer then has the chance to creatively document those equally important moments that are happening elsewhere. Two photographers make the difference in telling a complete story and achieving maximum creativity.

Yes, every picture that we take will be put onto the CD. There will be a folder of Edited Images, which will contain my recommendations for best photo. I personally edit the photographs to remove the duplicates and the few photos that are not "fit to print"; the "blinks and blurs".
All of mine and my photographers’ cameras are digital. They are all high-end, professional, hi-resolution, photo cameras or hi-def video cameras. We all shoot with multiple lenses. Why are multiple lenses important; because many wedding photographers shoot with one long lens that can go from wide to very zoomed-in but these are cheap lenses do not yield well-done, creative photographs; multiple lenses are necessary for that. We also bring our own on-camera lighting for the day of the wedding.

The website is very user-friendly and all of my bride tell love how easy it is to navigate. They have an entire customer support team that you can contact if you need it. Through the site, you can share the photos with friends and family, upload as many pictures as you want, and even print various items, such as personalized mouse pads or key chains using your photos.
Package changes are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For every wedding there are certain items and resources that need to be rented or reserved far in advance. Therefore deciding to change your package too close to the date may or may not be possible. What we can change, we will. For every item change there is a $30 administrative fee.

Every couple is allotted ten hours of wedding day coverage. We say ten hours because, in our experience, that is more than enough time to cover everything. You are not required to use all ten hours, but in the event that your big day starts late, you’re covered.

Yes, the entire package must be paid for in full no less than fourteen days before the wedding. This is a strict policy put in place to ensure that you receive your albums, prints and other items in a timely manner.

Yes, we have full liability coverage and can produce the necessary documentation if needed.

4, We need to ensure that no airline delays or weather patterns get in the way shooting you wedding. So we like to arrive at least 2 days before the wedding and we can leave the day after.

No, table shots end up looking forced and waste time. Trying maneuver to each table with the big dress and high heels then to organize a pose for the picture stops the guests from enjoying their meal, upsets the half of each table that has to stand up and walk around to the other side, then after all of that none of the smiles are not genuine. The worst thing of all is that those shots can take up to an hour or more to produce. By the time we’re finished, the bride’s energy is so zapped, that she is too tired to dance. Then we don’t have any images of her dancing and laughing.

Every contract has a definitive beginning and end point. Coverage will begin at the agreed upon start time and run for the ten continuous hours until the end.
Like the engagement portraits, that is your decision. When planning your wedding, look into the nearby areas that will be available for your wedding portraits such as arboretums and parks. City Parks are gorgeous and always work, but you can also try something fresh and new like a boardwalk or amusement park. Just be sure to check into traffic routes and arranging permissions before the wedding day.

No, shot lists do more harm than good. A good wedding photojournalist, which all of my staff is, will know all of the shots that need to be taken and will not miss anything. Shot lists limit the creativity of the photographer. On the day of the wedding, you can ask your photographer to take a picture of something you don’t want to forget but keep in mind that you do not want to limit his ability to do his job.
WILL YOU BE ABLE TO STAY OVERTIME IF NEEDED? - [+]
The standard team that I work with is at least two photographers and one assistant. There may be more if the event requires it.

The wedding album will be a thirty page, 12x12 inch, leather-bound, coffee table album with magazine-styled layouts. Magazine-style layouts mean that the pictures are the pages. Refer to the Packages Page to see samples of the type of coffee table album described.

No, it is our policy to only use photos we have taken with our cameras in the wedding album. Photos taken with other cameras are not of the same quality or size, and will thus look distorted when enlarged for the wedding album.
